Desktop Packages
Here at Data Defender we believe all companies (and individuals), regardless of size, should secure their data. That is why we have created security packages suitable for private consultants or small businesses. Annual packages can either be paid as a one -off or by monthly direct debit.
These packages are particularly relevant to those who store and process sensitive data such as solicitors, barristers, doctors and accountants. Not only do these packages greatly strengthen data security but they also enhance compliance with the UK Data Protection Act.
Facilitates easy file encryption and stops others from viewing or leaking files. Leaked documents cannot be read by others, including the press.
Folder Encryption*
Encrypted folders protect all files within a folder and can be set to hidden when not in use. A screensaver lock can be switched on if required.
Email Encryption*^
As emails are, by default, insecure and relatively easy to intercept and/or hack, this solution encrypts all emails with attachments.
Removable Media Encryption*
Being small and portable, USB drives are often a company's weakest link. Our solutions enable encryption of USBs and/or hardware drives.
CD and DVD Encryption*
Due to the thickness of optical media they can easily be misplaced or lost in transit. This solution lets you encrypt and burn data in just a few clicks.
Secure File Shredding
Documents deleted using the delete key or recycle bin have a high chance of recovery. Using a simple file shredder reduces this risk.
Text and Clipboard Encryption*
Turns text or even your clipboard entry (Control + V) into un-readable gibberish such as: l54MuZyjc+rys3goPmwXfY5dcds9+PsbSH2Nf78LT4NjdA.
Virtual Disks and Archives*
WinZip archives are great but encryption within WinZip is not. This facility creates a secure archive as well as encrypted virtual disks.
Data Back-Up*
Back-up is vitally important and our system backs-up files hourly, daily or weekly. All data is fully redundant and sits within ex-MoD facilities.
Secure Email Service
